Terms & Conditions
All arrangements are made subject to the following terms and conditions. The responsibility to meet these Terms and Conditions is that of the person making the booking and that individual is responsible (where appropriate) for all other members of their party.
We use PayPal to allow you to pay securely with a credit or debit card. For PayPal transactions we charge an additional 3.4%. To avoid this fee you can pay via BACS. You can specify which payment method you intend to use when we confirm your booking.
Bookings can only be reserved and confirmed on receipt of a completed booking form and clearing of the deposit. The deposit is 25% of the accommodation, and is not refundable.
The outstanding balance, together with the security deposit of £200.00 per gite must be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to the beginning of the holiday. Failure to pay on time will result in your accommodation being re-let. Any cancellation must be in writing. We are unable to refund any monies paid in the event of the client cancelling a reservation. Unless we are able to resell your holiday.
The person signing this agreement must inform us of any breakages or damage to the property. The security deposit will be refunded in full, bank transfer, within 2 weeks after departure, less any deductions required for damage to the buildings and costs related to replacing damaged property, including furnishings inside and outside the gites. We will forward you a reminder before your balance becomes due.
Unless the Cleaning Service has been pre-book and paid for, all gites must be left clean, tidy with rubbish removed, ready for the next guests. Any un-arranged cleaning, recycling and rubbish removal will result in the security deposit being charged against in full.
Day guests are only allowed by consent with the owner, unauthorised guests will result in a charge against the deposit.
If a booking confirmed by us for some reason has to be cancelled by us, we shall notify the person signing this agreement and offer full refund or try and arrange other dates. There will be no liability on the owner for the cancellation other than the repayment of monies on regards of the accommodation.
It is agreed that the number of people in the booking party (including children) must not exceed total allowed in the gite.
We will not enter your occupied gite unless invited, or to rectify a problem, or if we feel that the gite/furnishings are being misused. You must inform Phil immediately if there are defects in the gite or furnishings that need attention.
In the event of any complaint, the guest must take it up with the owner or our representative immediately so that any problem can be rectified to the satisfaction of all parties. No complaints can be accepted after the guests have departed from La Roultiere.
Facilities at La Roultiere are subject to availability no guarantees are given that every facility will be available at all times. The swimming pool is opened at the earliest opportunity in the season and kept open for as long as possible, but its opening is subject to weather conditions.
The owners cannot accept any damage or loss to personal belongings/ damage to motor vehicles.
La Roultiere must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Late departures may be subject to a surcharge. Gites will not be available prior to 4pm; arrivals prior to this time will not have access to their apartment or use of the facilities. No arrivals after 10pm.
The owners are not responsible for ferry delays or any form of holiday insurance.
Prices include bed linen.
There is absolutely no smoking in the gites. If there is any indication of smoking in the gites the security deposit will be forfeited in full.
Bike hire is subject to availability. The hirer is responsable for any punctures etc.
You are responsible for everyone in your party using the swimming pool; children under 16 need to be supervised by an adult in your booking party at all times in the pool area.
The cost of your holiday includes the use of cooking gas, hot water, and electricity.
Heating is not included.
Pets by proir arrangement only.
Vehicles are not permitted in front of the house unless loading and unloading your luggage on arrival/departure. In the interests of safety, guests must park their vehicules in the car park area.
The cost of your holiday is agreed at the time of booking based on the advertised price on the website. Prices may be subject to change at any time. The cost of extras are agreed at the time of booking if booked; requesting extras after your intial reservation may be subject to a price change due to inflation/exchange rate.
