1. Bookings can only be confirmed on receipt a completed booking form and clearing of the deposit. The deposit is 25% of the accommodation and miscallaneous costs, and is NON-REFUNDABLE
2. The outstanding balance, together with the security deposit must be paid no later than 10 weeks prior to the beginning of the holiday. FAILURE TO PAY ON TIME MAY RESULT IN YOUR ACCOMMODATION BEING RE LET. Any cancellation must be in writing and is subject to a £40 administration. Refunds will be calculated using the following scale:
   more than 90 – 70 days notice = loss of deposit.
   69 - 28 days notice = 50% refund (minus £40 admin fee)
   27 - 14 days notice = 30% refund (minus £40 admin fee)
   13 – 8 days notice = 10% refund (minus £40 admin fee)
   7 days or less notice = 0% refund.
3. The person signing this agreement must inform us of any breakages or damage to the property and to pay for all damage done. The security deposit will be refunded in full, fourteen days after departure less any deductions required.
4. Unless the Cleaning Service has been pre-book and paid for, all gites must be left clean, tidy with rubbish removed ready for the next guests. The cost of any unarranged cleaning will be deducted from your security deposit.
5. Any day guests, invited by the booking party must be pre-arranged, and only by agreement with the owners. Day guests must sign in, and are subject to a fee of €10 per day per guest. Day guests are only permitted on site between 10am and 10.30pm.
6. If a booking confirmed by us for some reason has to be cancelled by us, we shall notify the person signing this agreement and offer full refund or try and arrange other dates. There will be no liability on the owner for the cancellation other than the repayment of monies on regards of the accommodation.
7. It is agreed that the number of people (including children) must not exceed total allowed in the apartment (unless by special arrangement and subject to a supplement per person).
8. WE WILL NOT ENTER YOUR OCCUPIED GITE UNLESS INVITED, OR TO RECTIFY A PROBLEM, OR IF WE FEEL THAT THE GITE/FURNISHINGS ARE BEING MISUSED. You must inform Gill or Phil immediately if there are defects in the gite or furnishings that need attention.
9. In the event of any complaint, the guest must take it up with the owner or our representative within 24 hours so that any problem can be rectified to the satisfaction of all parties. No complaints can be accepted after the guests have departed from La Roultiere.
10. Facilities at La Roultiere are subject to availability – no guarantees are given that every facility will be available at all times. The swimming pool is opened at the earliest opportunity in the season and kept open for as long as possible, but its opening is subject to weather conditions.
11. The owners cannot accept any damage or loss to personal belongings/ damage to motor vehicles.
12. La Roultiere must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Late departures may be subject to a surcharge. Apartments will not be available prior to 4pm; arrivals prior to this time cannot be guaranteed access to their apartment or use of the facilities. No arrivals after 10 pm unless by prior arrangement. Late arrivals will be subject to a porterage fee. (Not applicalbe if La Roultiere has been hired in its entirety)
13. The owners are not responsible for ferry delays or any form of holiday insurance.
14. LINEN MUST BE USED ON THE BEDS. The gites are supplied with pillows and duvets but not linen (to cover them) or towels. You are required to bring your own. If you are arriving other than by car, linen can be hired from us. If linen has been found not to have been used, you will incur cleaning costs.
15. There is positively no smoking in the gites. You may smoke outside but please do not litter with cigarette butts and ash.
16. If you make use of the bicycles please inform us if there has been a problem with the bike. You use the bicycles at your own risk.
17. You are responsible for everyone in your party using the swimming pool; children under 16 need to be supervised by an adult in your booking party at all times in the pool area.
18. The cost of your holiday includes the use of cooking gas, hot water, and electricity.
19. Heating is normally off during the season. If heating is required during LOW season there will be no additional charge. If heating is requested in MID, HIGH or PEAK seasons there will be an additional cost levied during your stay. Logs for the open fires can be purchased additionally.
20. Dogs are permitted to La Roultiere during the Low season only and are subject to a supplement. This supplement can be waived if the booking is for a month or more. Only dogs of a good nature are allowed. If a dog shows any inappropriate behaviour as deemed by us, the dog must be removed from the premises at no cost to us.
21. Please refrain from driving your vehicles in front of the house unless loading and unloading your luggage. Absolutely no access to the front or rear of the property by vehicle between 7.30pm and 9.30am unless by special arrangement. In the interests of safety use the car park provided.
22. The cost of your holiday is agreed at the time of booking based on the advertised price on the website. Prices may be subject to change at any time.
