| Breil is a quiet farming village with its own Chateau which
has beautiful gardens that open to the public.
In the village there is a small Patisserie for bread and
Crossiants. This also sells a small range of tinned food
and sweets. The Bar opposite the church also has a Creperie
and Saladerie for light meals and/or a drink.
The village has a bus stop and is the location of the
nearest payphone. (You will need to purchase a phone card
to use payphones in France.)
The Chateau in Breil annually hosts a large country fete.
20 000 visitors come to this one day festival of French
country life - check with Gill and Phil for the exact date. |
